DESCRIPTION OF ACTION

A molluscicide in the form of a granular bait for controlling slugs on certain agricultural crops and ornamental plants in open and protected soils.

Attracts slugs and is easily consumed. It acts orally and by contact. Contains a bittering agent to prevent accidental ingestion.

The product is intended for use with manual and mechanical applicators

for granular crop protection products.

PRODUCT APPLICATION

Crops: Winter rapeseed, winter wheat

Slugs, e.g., slugs, snails

- On rapeseed: after sowing until the fifth leaf stage (BBCH 15)

- On wheat: after sowing until the fourth leaf stage (BBCH 14). Distribute the product evenly over the field, for example, using an applicator for granular crop protection products. Maximum/recommended single application rate: 4 kg/ha.

Maximum number of applications per growing season: 3.

Interval between applications: at least 14 days.

Indoor plants, marigolds, and other ornamental plants (indoors and outdoors). Slugs, snails, and tapeworms, for example.

Date of application: Apply the product after the first signs of slug damage are detected. Distribute the product evenly, for example, using a granular plant protection applicator, over the entire soil surface between plants and along the edges of beds. Do not spray on crops.

Maximum/recommended single application rate: 0.4 kg/1000 m². Maximum number of applications per growing season: 3.

Interval between applications: at least 14 days.

PRECAUTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE RELATED TO GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICE

1. ​​Before applying to coarse soil, it is recommended to level the soil to prevent granules from getting into cracks and allowing easy access for slugs.

2. Best control results are achieved when applying the product during the day or evening.

Precautions for users and workers:

Do not eat, drink, or smoke while using the product. Wear protective gloves and work clothing.

Precautions for the environment:

Do not allow the plant protection product or its packaging to contaminate water. Do not wash equipment near surface water. Do not allow drainage ditches from farms and roads to contaminate water. The period from the time of product application until the day when people and animals may enter the area where the product is applied (the preventive period) is not included. The period from the last application until the day of harvest is not included.

STORAGE CONDITIONS | SAFE DISPOSAL OF PLANT PROTECTION

AND PACKAGING

Keep out of reach of children. Keep pets away from the product. Store plant protection products:

- in areas or facilities where appropriate measures have been taken to prevent environmental contamination and access by third parties,

- in the original packaging, preventing contact with food, beverages, or feed,

- at temperatures between 0°C and 30°C.

 

Prohibited. Do not use empty plant protection product packaging for other purposes. Unused product should be returned to an authorized waste collection facility. It is recommended to return empty plant protection product packaging to the retailer or dispose of it as household waste. If you have any questions about how to handle the packaging, contact the retailer.

Antidote: None; treatment is symptomatic. If medical advice is needed,

show the packaging or label.

Active ingredient content: Metaldehyde

(a compound from the group of acetaldehyde derivatives) - 50 g/kg (5%).
